Springtime Skin and Hair Care Tips

Spring is here and it’s time to change the way you take care of your skin. Your daily skin care regiments you used in the winter no longer apply.

 Skin Care Tips:

  • Switch to a lighter moisturizer. The heavy moisturizing cream that was great in the winter time is too heavy for the spring.  
  • Pay attention to your eyes and mouth areas.
  • Don’t forget the sunscreen.

Make Up:

  • Lighten up your make-up.
  • Ditch the dark colors and choose more natural neutral colors.
  • Use a lip gloss to keeps lips hydrated.

All over body care:

  • Exfoliate and hydrate- use a loofah slough away dead skins cells and use a all over body moisturizer to keep your new glow.

Foot care:

  • Toss the boots and slip your feet into those flip flops.
  • Get a professional pedicure.
  • Do an at hope pedicure- 3 cups of milk and 1 cup honey and soak your feet in a foot bath. Massage into your fee and use a pumice stone to remove the dead skin. Rinse and pat dry.
  • If you have extra dry heels, use petroleum jelly on your feet and put on clean socks and sleep for one night and wake up with super soft feet.

Keep hydrated:

  • Drink lots of water.
  • Drink lots of water.
  • Drink lots of water.

Hair care:

  • Let your hair air dry when possible, Blow drying can dry your hair out.
  • Keep it conditioned.
  • Get some highlights or lighten your overall color.
  • Get a new cut and style.
